Summary: A simple book that tells how different body language can tell what people are thinking and feeling in other cultures. For example, people lean forward and smile to greet you when they are happy to see you. In Asian cultures, people bow to each other to greet you. But, please be reminded that looks can deceive you sometimes.
Illustrations: Photographs
Tone: Conversational; humorous
Voice: Enjoyment
Science Processes: Inferring, predicting, observing, classifying
Response: This is a good introductory book for the parts of the body. In the book, the children are doing things with their body parts such as waving their hands, bowing their heads, and shaking hands with each other. This is also a good time to talk about inappropriate touching.
